Dr Eva Lew joined Farleigh Hospice in 2010 as a Consultant in Palliative Medicine, having undertaken specialist training in the Oxford Deanery. She was promoted to the new role of Medical Director in 2019, working alongside Farleigh Hospice’s Clinical Director to help to deliver a high quality and responsive clinical service. She is responsible for overseeing the whole medical team in providing seamless specialist medical support across our In-Patient Unit, community and local hospital. As well as being the Lead for Clinical Governance, she is responsible for developing and delivering clinical education within and outside the Hospice, working with our Head of Education. She is particularly looking forward to helping to influence Palliative Care education at the new Anglia Ruskin Medical School and being involved in innovative ways of delivering education using virtual media, such as Project ECHO.
