Tunsime Kyando

Tunsime Kyando serves as the Country Director at Farm Africa since August 2024, leading initiatives focused on poverty alleviation and sustainable development in Tanzania through innovative agricultural and conservation programs. Previously, Tunsime was the Country Director at TechnoServe from November 2018 to July 2024, where oversight of a diverse portfolio aimed at empowering low-income communities and strengthening the agribusiness sector was essential. Tunsime's career also includes roles as a Program Manager at TechnoServe, a Senior Trade Specialist at Global Communities, a Business Advisor at TechnoServe, a Market Analyst at the International Labour Organization, and a Corporate Trainer at SIYB Eg. Tunsime holds an Executive Certificate in Food Systems from Wageningen University & Research, a Master's degree in Applied Economics and Business from Mzumbe University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics of Development from Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy.
