Kate Bennett started their work experience at Farm Boy Inc. in June 2012 as a Human Resources Assistant. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the hiring process, tracking staffing levels, administering new hire documentation, and conducting orientation for new employees. Kate also handled payroll and scheduling tasks, including auditing punches and tracking paid and unpaid time-off for staff. Additionally, they managed health and safety training and documentation and performed general administrative duties. In May 2014, they were promoted to the role of Pension and Benefits Administrator, where they handled day-to-day administration of benefit plans and reconciled monthly bills to payroll reports. Kate held this position until March 2018. In September 2018, they became a Human Resources Generalist, before being promoted to Human Resources Manager in March 2019. Currently, Kate serves as the Director of HR - Employee Experience.
Kate Bennett attended Queen's University from 2005 to 2007, but their degree and field of study during this time are unknown. Kate later pursued an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government at Carleton University from 2009 to 2011.
