Alex Hoogendoorn

Alex Hoogendoorn has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Alex began their career at Delft University of Technology as a Mathematical Engineer and Operational Analyst, working on water resource analysis. Alex then moved on to ING, where they served as a Senior System Analyst and ICT Business Analyst, ensuring data integrity and analyzing data from different sources.

After their time at ING, Alex worked as a Software and Web Developer Contractor for Red Jungle Ltd, enhancing existing websites using various technologies. Alex then joined PGG Wrightson Ltd as a Web Developer, contributing to a new website using C# .NET and other tools.

Following their role at PGG Wrightson Ltd, Alex worked at FNZ, where they served as a Service and Support Developer, ensuring the smooth running of wealth management and back-office applications. Alex then joined Stats NZ as an Applications Developer, developing and supporting the Household Survey Platform.

In 2015, Alex joined Kiwibank as a Software Developer in the Middleware/Integration Services Team, where they developed and maintained API services using REST in AWS. Most recently, they joined MyTrucking as a Software Developer, extending and enhancing their web and mobile app using a range of technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Vue.js, MySQL, and AWS.

Currently, Alex is working at Farm Focus Limited as a Business Analyst, utilizing their skills and experience to contribute to the company's success.

Alex Hoogendoorn attended Kalsbeek Scholengemeenschap from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained their VWO (pre-University Education) degree. Alex then went on to pursue further education at Delft University of Technology from 1990 to 1996, earning their MSc in Technical Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, Alex obtained certifications such as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist .NET Framework 2.0 from Microsoft (year not specified), and Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in November 2014.
