Gauri Gandhi

Gauri Gandhi is a Senior Perception Engineer at Luminar Technologies, with a focus on tracking and perception engineering since February 2017. Previously, Gauri participated in the Jagriti Yatra program as a Yatri in late 2019 and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, contributing to a project on obstacle detection and collision avoidance between multiple robotic agents. This project involved advanced techniques such as particle filtering and real-time obstacle detection using Kinect. Gauri also interned at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in the summer of 2014, gaining experience in embedded systems through various communication tests. Gauri holds a Master of Science in Robotic Systems Development from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from G.B.P.U.A&T.
