Gail Patak is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in plant-based cuisine and sustainable food practices. Currently serving as a Vegan Chef at Farm Sanctuary since April 2023, Gail is responsible for developing the on-site café, designing menus, and creating culinary programs. Gail has been a Food for Life Instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine since December 2014. Previously, as Chef/Owner of Garden Truck Food Co. from January 2013 to May 2023, Gail developed the business concept, including brick and mortar design, menu creation, product development, and catering, all while adhering to high sustainability standards. Additionally, Gail held the position of Executive Chef at Darbster from January 2016 to January 2017, contributing to the plant-based restaurant scene. Educational credentials include degrees in Pastry and Culinary Arts from Culinard (2009-2011) and Fashion Design from the International Institute of Fashion Design.
