Hannah Leighton

Hannah Leighton is the Director of Strategic Impact at Farm to Institution New England, overseeing research and evaluation efforts to increase the amount of local food served at schools, hospitals, jails/prisons, and colleges. She also leads programming at Catskills Agrarian Alliance and the 607 CSA, and has experience in project management at ripe.io and farm to school activities at Farm Catskills. With a background in sustainable agriculture and food systems, she has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts and co-founded The Hook Gardens and Old Milburnie Farm's On-Farm Dinner Series. Additionally, she has managed harvest and farm stand operations at Beetlebung Farm, contributed to the Beetlebung Farm Cookbook, and holds degrees in Creative Writing and Sustainability Sciences.
