Tricia Montgomery

Tricia Montgomery is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the pet industry and animal welfare. Currently serving as an Executive Board Member for the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement Inc since May 2024, Tricia advocates for pet loss and grief support. As the Animal Welfare Liaison at Farm & Yard since November 2023, Tricia focuses on enhancing animal welfare through program development and collaboration. Tricia also founded and hosts the Pets Are Family Podcast and is the Founder and President of Moose's March Inc., which raises awareness for early cancer detection in pets. In addition, Tricia is a partner at Augie Bones, specializing in sustainable pet toys, and serves as President of P.monty Consulting, a firm offering public relations and marketing services in the pet industry. Tricia's previous experience includes a leadership role as CEO of Paws Humane Society and as Executive Director of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, where substantial community and media relationships were fostered. Educational qualifications include a degree from The University of Alabama.
