Min Xu

Data Scientist at Farmer's Business Network

Min Xu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career in 2011 as a Volunteer Manager at China Biomass Exhibition, where they managed volunteer activities for one month. From 2011 to 2014, Min worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University while also serving as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2011 to 2018. Most recently, Min has been working as a Data Scientist at Farmer's Business Network, Inc. since January 2019.

Min Xu completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from Purdue University in 2018, specializing in Agronomic modeling and remote sensing. Prior to that, Min Xu earned a Master's Degree in Applied Statistics from Purdue University in 2016. Min Xu also holds a Master's Degree in Soil Science and Agronomy, General from Purdue University, which was obtained between 2011 and 2014. Min Xu started their education journey by completing a Bachelor's Degree in Resource and Environmental Sciences from China Agricultural University in 2011.

In addition to their academic degrees, Min Xu has obtained several certifications. They have completed courses in Machine Learning: Classification, Machine Learning: Regression, and Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach, offered by Coursera. They obtained these certifications in 2018. In 2015, Min Xu acquired the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 certification from SAS. Prior to that, in 2011, Min Xu received the Professional Certificate for Analysis of Soil, Plant and Environment from China Agricultural University. Additionally, in 2009, Min Xu obtained the National Computer Rank Examination - C Language (2nd level) certification from the Ministry of Education, China.
