Roger Koppen

Roger Koppen has extensive experience in the agricultural cooperative sector, serving as the CEO of Farmers Cooperative Company since June 1992. Farmers Cooperative, based in Iowa, operates 50 locations across central and northern Iowa, managed by a board elected by farmer customers. Prior to this role, Roger held the position of General Manager at Mid Iowa Cooperative from August 1973 to June 1992, following the merger of Yale Farmers Cooperative and Farmers Cooperative, Bayard Iowa. Roger initially began as General Manager at Yale Farmers Cooperative, managing a single-location cooperative focused on grain, agronomy, feed, and petroleum. Roger holds an Associate of Arts degree in Agriculture Management from Iowa Lakes Community College and furthered education at Estherville Junior College.
