Karen Palmer

Karen Palmer has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Karen is currently working at Farmers Edge as the Human Resources Director, a role they started in May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Human Resources Manager at Farmers Edge from December 2022 to May 2023. Before joining Farmers Edge, Karen worked as the Senior Human Resources Specialist from May 2020 to December 2022.

Prior to their role at Farmers Edge, Karen had experience in talent acquisition at Princess Auto Ltd., where they served as the Talent Acquisition Leader from March 2016 to April 2020. Additionally, they worked for Trans Canada Brewing Company as the Director of Recruiting from December 2016 to August 2017.

Karen's career in Human Resources began at People First HR Services, where they held various positions. Karen served as the Manager of Operations & Marketing from April 2009 to August 2015, Senior Consultant from April 2006 to April 2009, and Consultant from March 2003 to April 2006.

Before starting their career in Human Resources, Karen worked as a Production Assistant at Payworks from September 2001 to February 2003.

Karen Palmer graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies in 1997. Karen later pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree in Human Resources from the same university, completing it in 2000.
