Mark Stubbs has a diverse work experience in the electric cooperative industry. Mark served as the CEO at Farmers Electric Cooperative (Texas) and Cotton Electric Cooperative, leading these organizations in setting strategies and fulfilling objectives. Prior to this, they were the CEO/General Manager at Fort Belknap Electric Cooperative, where they served the people of Young and surrounding counties. Mark also worked at Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative as the Director of Administration, learning from the esteemed CEO, Henry Umscheid. Before their career in electric cooperatives, Mark worked as the City Manager at the City of Yoakum, Texas, overseeing a municipally-owned electric utility.
Mark Stubbs attended Texas A&M University from 1980 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Mark further pursued their education at Texas A&M University from 1982 to 1984, obtaining a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on Public Administration.
