Lucia Raya-Kaup

Lucia Raya-Kaup has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Lucia currently holds the role of Director of Human Resources at Farmers Mutual of Nebraska since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Human Resources Manager at the same company from April 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Farmers Mutual of Nebraska, Lucia worked at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as an Assistant Director of Benefits/Sr HR Facilitator from December 2019 to April 2021.

Lucia also gained valuable experience at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where they held various HR positions. Lucia served as an Employment Services Manager from June 2015 to December 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Payroll Technician from September 2012 to June 2015 and as a Human Resources Technician from August 2012 to September 2012. Lucia started their career as a Human Resources Intern at the same university from May 2012 to August 2012.

Lucia Raya-Kaup completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management/HR from the University of Nebraska at Kearney between 2009 and 2013. Currently, they are pursuing a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, starting in 2019 and expected to graduate in 2023. Additionally, they are working towards a Certificate in Public Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, which they started in 2019 and is set to complete in 2021.
