Christa Owen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Christa started their career in 1995 as an Assistant Director of Education at Lockmasters, Inc. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a Visual Management Consultant while being self-employed. In 2006, Christa became the Owner/Operator of Lynco for a year. Christa then joined Farmers National Bank of Danville in 2008 as a Customer Service Representative and remained there until 2011. At the same bank, they worked as an Operations Support Admin from 2011 to 2013. Since 2013, Christa has been working at Farmers National Bank as a Compliance Officer, starting at the position of AVP and currently holding the role of Chief Compliance Officer, VP, CRCM.

Christa Owen's education history begins in 1989 when they attended Centre College, although no degree or field of study is specified. Christa then went on to study Biology at the University of Kentucky from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. More recently, in 2019, they enrolled at Florida State University, where they completed a Juris Master degree in Financial Regulation and Compliance. Christa obtained this degree from both the Florida State University College of Law and Florida State University, completing their studies in 2020.
