Pilar Castillo has a wealth of work experience, having held positions in various companies since 2003. Pilar began their career at Nancy Fox & Associates as the General Manager of China Operations in Hangzhou, China. In 2007, they became a Freelance Business Consultant in Shanghai, China for Trilogy. In 2010, they earned their MBA in Strategic Carbon Management from the University of East Anglia. In 2011, they joined Deloitte as a Manager of Sustainability Services. In 2012, they were part of the Future Leaders Team Programme 2012 Cohort at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. In 2015, they held the role of Manager at SIGLA as and Operations Director at the Business for Peace Foundation. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Managing Partner at Makondo and then the VP of Global Partnerships and Head of Sales and Marketing at Farmforce AS.
Pilar Castillo's education history includes a Bsc Joint Honors degree in Economics and Economic History from the University of Bristol, which they completed between 1998 and 2002. Pilar then went on to obtain a Diploma in Chinese Language (Advanced and Business) from the Hangzhou Institute of Commerce between 2000 and 2003. In 2010, they completed an MBA in Strategic Carbon Management & Sustainability from the University of East Anglia.
