Christine Garrison

General Counsel at Farmland Partners

Christine has served as General Counsel for various real estate asset classes, including farmland, student housing, data centers, and industrial. In these roles, she supported teams through acquisitions, dispositions, and mergers; negotiated operational contracts; managed litigation; and structured risk management and insurance programs. Prior to joining the company, Christine served as General Counsel for a global student housing operator, during which time she successfully negotiated the sale of an $800M student housing portfolio and management company, as well as the purchase of a $1B student housing portfolio.

She also served as the Deputy General Counsel for a publicly traded REIT, where she was integral to the growth of a U.S. industrial real estate portfolio and the negotiation of an $8.5B stock sale. Christine also worked as an attorney at a large law firm where she handled complex commercial and real estate litigation. Christine received her J.D. from the University of Colorado and her B.S. from the University of Illinois.
