Jaya Swaminathan

Jaya Swaminathan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jaya began their career as a Teacher in various schools, where they taught Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics to students in different grade levels. During this time, they also took on additional responsibilities such as being the Teacher-in-charge for Science talent exams and acting as a coordinator for Sacred Heart Convent School under the Tata Excellence in Education Programme for Jamshedpur Schools.

In 2010, Jaya joined Moodeye Media and Technologies as the Head of Academics and Content Development for XYO Learning Systems. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating content creation and development according to the prescribed syllabus and competitive exams requirements. Additionally, they organized the Xyo Inter-School Olympiad, an annual Maths-Science Championship for schools in Bangalore.

In 2014, Jaya joined the Royal Society of Chemistry as a Teacher Developer for The Yusuf Hamied Inspirational Science Programme. Jaya conducted workshops for science teachers in government and private schools across India, aiming to equip them with specialist knowledge and skills to deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to study science.

Most recently, in 2021, Jaya started working at Farmveda as the Head of Product Research. Here, they are involved in developing new products, standardizing formulae, and providing training to staff on safety and process controls. Farmveda, in collaboration with the Centre for Collective Development (CCD), aims to improve the livelihoods of small and marginal farmers by educating them in collective methods of agriculture, processing, and market links.

Jaya Swaminathan began their education at the University of Mumbai, where they pursued an unspecified field of study. The duration and completion status of this course are not mentioned.
