Aaron Shearer

Aaron Shearer has over 8 years of professional experience in engineering and project management. In 2022, they began working as a Hardware Engineering Project Manager for FarmWise. Prior to that, they were an Engineer 1 at Huffman Engineering, Inc. from 2020 to 2018. From 2018 to 2016, they worked as a Project Manager and Business Analyst at Sandhills Global. From 2016 to 2014, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they conducted research specializing in precision agriculture and data management, developed sensor instrumentation and data collection systems, worked with agricultural vehicle CAN bus networks, and presented projects to industry leading companies. Aaron also supervised undergraduate research assistants. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky.

Aaron Shearer attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering. Prior to this, they attended the University of Kentucky from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering.
