Alireza Janani, Ph.D

Alireza Janani, Ph.D, has extensive work experience in various roles related to perception engineering, computer vision, and software development. Alireza currently serves as a Senior Perception Engineer at Farm(x), starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at AutoModality from June 2017 to August 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior Vision Engineer and Software Developer at BouMatic from August 2016 to June 2017. Their earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Sheffield Hallam University from July 2012 to July 2016.

Alireza Janani, Ph.D received their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Alireza continued their education at Sheffield Hallam University and obtained a Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, which they completed between 2011 and 2012. Alireza's passion for robotics led him to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Multi Robotics Systems and Swarm Robotics at Sheffield Hallam University from 2013 to 2017.
