Jaime Rodrigues

Jaime Rodrigues has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious institutions. Jaime currently holds the position of Lead Research Scientist at FARO Technologies, where they have been working since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Research Scientist at the same company from September 2015 to August 2021.

Before joining FARO Technologies, Jaime worked as an Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, from September 2011 to August 2015. Jaime also worked as a Consultant at INEGI Porto from June 2014 to June 2015.

Jaime'sacademic journey includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at INEGI from November 2010 to August 2013. Prior to that, they were a Ph.D. Student at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, from September 2006 to September 2010.

In addition to their research and academic pursuits, Jaime has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Lisbon Polytechnic Institute from September 2003 to August 2004. Jaime started their teaching career as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Coimbra, from September 1999 to August 2003. Prior to that, they served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, from September 1996 to August 1998.

Jaime Rodrigues completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto from 1994 to 1999. Jaime then attended the Universidade de Coimbra from 2000 to 2001, studying Algebra and Mathematics. From 2004 to 2005, Jaime studied Quantitative Methods Applied to Management at Porto Business School. Jaime later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, graduating between the years 2006 and 2010.
