Masoumeh Aminzadeh

Masoumeh Aminzadeh is a highly experienced research scientist and tech lead with a strong focus on computer vision and AI-based solutions for industrial automation. Currently serving as a Tech Lead Research Scientist at Siemens since January 2022, Masoumeh has a robust background from positions at Meta as a Senior Research Scientist in AI Research, where significant contributions were made in deep learning applications across various domains, and at ABB Robotics as an Innovation R&D Engineer specializing in computer vision for industrial robotics. Masoumeh began a research career at the Georgia Institute of Technology, obtaining both a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering while working on innovative machine vision systems and experimental tool life analysis. Prior experience also includes work as a Senior Data Scientist at the Intelligent Systems Research Center, where Masoumeh led projects developing fault-detection systems for satellites.
