Leah McGuire

Leah McGuire is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer currently working at Faros AI since September 2023. Previous experience includes roles at Benchling from April 2021 to June 2023 focusing on Machine Learning, and extensive tenure at Salesforce from October 2014 to October 2020 as an Architect and Principal Member of Technical Staff for Einstein Machine Learning. Leah's earlier career includes positions as a Senior Data Scientist at LinkedIn (2012-2014), a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Berkeley (2010-2012), and a Ph.D. Researcher at UC San Francisco (2004-2010), where significant contributions were made in neural data processing and behavioral analysis. Leah began in research as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Santa Barbara, publishing two peer-reviewed papers, and holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from UC San Francisco and a BA in Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
