Hugh McQuaid

Hugh McQuaid is a seasoned quality manager currently employed at Farrans Construction since April 2019. McQuaid has held various engineering and management roles in the civil construction sector, including engineer/site manager at FORRME and project manager at Downer New Zealand, managing projects valued between $100k and $5 million. Experience also includes positions as section engineer and senior site engineer at Black & Veatch, involved in significant wastewater and water treatment projects. McQuaid's career began as a graduate engineer following the completion of a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Aberdeen and earlier qualifications in civil and water engineering from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
