Joe Richards has over three decades of experience in audio and video production, instruction, and equipment management. Currently an instructor at Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshaping, Inc. since May 2006, Joe is also the owner of Songsmythe Productions, specializing in media production, audio consulting, and HDR photography since January 1994. Previous roles include production coordinator at Lutheran Church of Hope from 2012 to July 2014, where responsibilities included overseeing volunteers and maintaining audio systems, and auditorium manager at Waukee Community Schools from January 1996 to August 2003, focusing on audio and lighting for high school events. Earlier experience includes positions as electronic technician at TraViss Audio Video and owner of Waukee Electronics, along with service technician roles at Tandy Corporation.
