Stacey Silber

Stacey was educated at the University of Toronto, where she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. She obtained her LLB from the University of British Columbia and was called to the Bar in 1992. Stacey spent the first seven years of her career in the litigation department at Farris, practicing in the areas of civil, commercial and family litigation. She then joined a boutique family law firm where she practiced family law exclusively for many years. Stacey returned to Farris in 2017 to join the family law group.

Stacey’s practice includes all matters relating to child parenting, property division, child and spousal support, and divorce, as well as the drafting of cohabitation agreements, marriage agreements and separation agreements. She also participates in mediations and arbitrations with clients. Stacey has a particular specialty in child mobility and relocation cases.

Stacey has extensive experience in negotiations and litigation in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and she has appeared in the BC Court of Appeal.
