Jack Travis

Jack Travis, FAIA NOMAC, is a distinguished architect and educator with extensive experience in both design and academia. As Principal at Jack Travis FAIA ARCHITECT since June 1985, Jack oversees all aspects of the firm including design, management, and administration, leading a seasoned team of professionals. Additionally, Jack serves as an Adjunct Full Professor in the Interior Design Department at Pratt Institute and at the Fashion Institute of Technology, teaching various studio and elective courses. Previous academic roles include serving as a Silcott Chair Recipient at Howard University and a Visiting Professor at the University of Cincinnati. Jack's early career featured notable design roles at NBC and prominent architectural firms, culminating in projects for high-end corporate clients. Jack holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Architecture from Arizona State University.
