Karen Lum

Karen Lum is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications and mentoring, currently serving as Co-Founder of {embrace} worldwide since July 2015, where the focus is on enhancing self-awareness and confidence through neuroscience and positive psychology. In addition to the role at {embrace}, Karen has been an Associate at several organizations including The Fast Forward Group, Turningpoint Leadership, and Leadership Mindset Partners since 2020. Karen also mentors at SOSV MOX and Chinaccelerator, guiding mobile app innovations and providing intensive mentorship to startups. Previously, Karen held significant leadership roles as Chief Communications Officer for DDB Group Asia Pacific and in marketing communications at Sony, where accomplishments included developing strategic PR initiatives across multiple markets. Karen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Economy and a Master's in Marketing from UNSW.
