Mohammad Jamil Usmani

Mohammad Jamil Usmani has extensive experience in teaching and lecturing. Mohammad Jamil began their career in 1998 as a Senior Lecturer at Sir Syed University of Engg. & Tech., where they taught various courses in Mathematics and Statistics for 11 years. During this time, they taught BS students from various engineering disciplines.

From 2000 to 2007, Usmani served as a visiting Lecturer at ALIGARH Institute of Technology, Karachi. Mohammad Jamil also had a brief stint as a visiting Lecturer at Bahria University from 2004 to 2005.

In 2010, Usmani joined Salalah College of Technology in Oman as a Lecturer and remained in this position until 2015. After that, they became an Assistant Professor at FAST-NUCES, a position they currently hold.

In 2000, Usmani enrolled in the Department of Statistics at Karachi University, where they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Statistics, which they completed in 2001. In 2001, they also pursued further studies in computer science, earning a Master of Computer Science (MCS) degree from Karachi University in 2003. Lastly, they attended Hamdard University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Network and Communication.
