Shazia Haque

Assistant Professor at FAST National University

Shazia Haque has worked as an Assistant Professor at FAST-NUCES since January 2009. Before that, they worked as a Systems Developer at the Financial Systems Division of the Victoria Police Force from August 2005 to November 2008. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Techlogix from June 2000 to June 2004.

Shazia Haque completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 1981 to 1992, they attended Convent of Jesus and Mary, Lahore, where they obtained their Senior Cambridge degree.

From 1993 to 1994, they attended Kinnaird College for Women and obtained an FSc. (Field of study not provided).

From 1995 to 2000, they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

Finally, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued their Masters degree in Information Technology from the University of Melbourne.

Apart from their formal education, Shazia Haque also obtained several certifications. In May 2020, they completed the course "Learning to Teach Online" from Coursera. In September 2020, they completed the course "How Google does Machine Learning" from Coursera. Shazia further enhanced their knowledge by obtaining certifications in various machine learning topics from Coursera, including "Supervised Machine Learning: Regression and Classification" in February 2023, "Advanced Learning Algorithms" in April 2023, "Unsupervised Learning, Recommenders, Reinforcement Learning" in May 2023, and "Python Data Structures" in July 2023.
