Alex Shaffer

Alex Shaffer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alex is currently working as an Attorney Legal Research and Analytics Trainer at vLex since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the City of Philadelphia from September 2020 to October 2021, where they managed a caseload of misdemeanor trials and preliminary hearings.

Alex also served as a Head Law Clerk at the Texas Association of School Boards from May 2018 to June 2020, contributing to legal research and drafting memoranda on public interest and policy issues. Additionally, they worked as a Law Clerk at the City of Austin from May 2019 to August 2019, administering trials and negotiating dispositions.

Alex's previous experience includes roles such as TAJ Associate at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Marketing Specialist at TEK Construction Services, LLC, Project Manager at The Portal by K5 Ventures, College Marketing Representative at Beggars Group, and Executive Cabinet member at Phi Gamma Delta.
