Alexandria Leal has a diverse work experience in various fields. Alexandria started their career as an IT Consultant for the "My Brush Hero" SEAL Team at Illonix in 2015. Alexandria then worked as a Marketing Intern at Queen Anne Beerhall in 2016, where they handled marketing promotions and social media engagement. In the same year, they also served as the Anti Abuse Director at Hypatia Software Organization, where they helped prevent harassment and abuse and supported victims. From 2013 to 2016, Alexandria worked at the University of Washington Transportation Services, first as a Student Assistant and later as a Student LEAN Coordinator. In these roles, they focused on improving the employment experience of student employees through process improvement and increased utilization of their talents. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Dell EMC as a Technical Support Engineer I, specializing in network attached storage and client systems. Their responsibilities included sysadmin tasks, coding, and customer support. Currently, Alexandria is employed at Fastly as a Software Release Engineer, where they are involved in automating compliance tickets and facilitating communication between teams. Alexandria also previously held roles as a Customer Service Engineer and an Associate Customer Service Engineer at Fastly.

Alexandria Leal completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Business Information Systems and Marketing, at the University of Washington, The Michael G. Foster School of Business. Alexandria attended the university from 2013 to 2018.

In addition, Alexandria obtained several certifications. In January 2019, they acquired the Associate - Information Storage and Management Version 3.0 (DCA-ISM) certification from Dell. Alexandria then obtained the Specialist - Platform Engineer, Isilon Version 3.0 (DCS-PE) certification from Dell in March 2019.

More recently, Alexandria pursued further learning in technology-related fields. In August 2021, they completed a course on Learning Docker offered by LinkedIn. In March 2022, they obtained a certificate for Learning Kubernetes, also from LinkedIn. Additionally, they achieved the Introduction to Julia Completion Certificate from JuliaAcademy in July 2022. Moreover, they obtained the Incident Command/Incident Management System Level 1 Certificate from Black Rock 3 LLC in July 2022.
