Betsy-Marie Olaussen has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Betsy-Marie began their career as a Photography Intern at Liz Banfield Photography in 2013. Betsy-Marie then joined Apple in 2014, where they worked as a Product Specialist, Technical Specialist, and eventually as a Genius until 2019.

In 2019, Olaussen joined the University of Minnesota, where they held various roles. Betsy-Marie started as a T2 Desktop Support, providing IT analysis and support for faculty and staff. Betsy-Marie later transitioned to T2 Fulfillment, where they managed software deployment and collaborated with colleagues to address issues. Olaussen also served as a Software Packaging Engineer and Product Owner of Software Deployment, where they wrote and tested documentation for internal systems. Betsy-Marie assisted the OIT Communications team in migrating IT systems. Betsy-Marie 'stenure at the University of Minnesota lasted until 2022.

Currently, Olaussen works at Fastly as an IT Client Platform Systems Engineer. Betsy-Marie started in 2022 and is currently serving in a senior role, utilizing their expertise in managing client platforms and systems.

Betsy-Marie Olaussen's education history is as follows:

Betsy-Marie Olaussen pursued their Master's degree in Graphic and Web Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Photography from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where they studied from 2009 to 2014.

In 2013, Betsy-Marie Olaussen briefly attended the Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici, studying Art History. Betsy-Marie completed their high school education at Mound Westonka High School, graduating with a High School Diploma in 2009.

In addition to their academic degrees, Betsy-Marie Olaussen has obtained several certifications. Betsy-Marie became a Jamf Certified Admin and a Jamf Certified Tech in 2022. In 2021, they completed certifications in Agile User Stories and Introduction to Agile from the University of Minnesota. In 2020, they obtained the Crash Course on Python certification from Google and the IT Knowledge Editor certification from the University of Minnesota. Furthermore, they achieved the Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) and Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT) certifications from Apple in 2016.
