Grant Mitchell

Grant Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Grant started their career in 2002 as the Owner of X-Tek Computing Ltd. Grant then worked as a Software Developer (freelance) at BroadBean Ltd in 2003 before joining Radianz as an OSS Planning and Implementation Engineer and BSS Planning Engineer (Contract) from 2002 to 2003. Grant continued their career at Easynet UK as a Systems Engineer (Contract) in 2004.

From 2004 to 2007, Grant worked at Radianz as a NOC Tools Subject Matter Expert, providing support and development for monitoring tools used by the NOC. Grant then joined Holonomix as a Consultant from 2007 to 2009, responsible for installing Holonomix solutions into customers and developing extensions to fit their environments.

Grant then joined ControlCircle in 2009 as the Head of Monitoring. Grant later became the Interim Head of OSS/BSS from 2011 to 2013. Grant joined Monitise in 2013 as a Unix Engineer, focusing on driving monitoring systems and improving visibility of customer environments. Grant later became the Service Delivery DevOps Manager in 2014, managing a small team responsible for delivering Monitise's services to customers.

In 2016, Grant joined Paddy Power Betfair as a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer, working on automation projects and delivering solutions for automation of Citrix Netscaler and Juniper SRX configurations. Grant later became a Site Reliability Engineer in 2018, working on low-frequency reporting platforms and tools such as splackup.

Most recently, Grant joined Fastly in 2019 as a Snr Site Reliability Engineer. Grant then transitioned to the role of Developer Services Manager and currently serves as the Infrastructure Automation Manager.
