Carina Hunter

Carina Hunter has extensive experience in marketing and events. Carina started their career in 2008 as an Event Coordinator at Genesys. In 2010, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at Faversham House Group, where they redesigned a show website that won an industry award. From 2010 to 2014, Carina served as a Senior Circulation & Marketing Executive at Ocean Media Group, achieving significant growth in delegate numbers for the CIH Housing Conference & Exhibition. Carina then worked as an Events & Marketing Manager at Clarion Events, marketing several conferences in the pharmaceutical sector and consistently achieving revenue growth. In 2017, Carina became the Head of Marketing - Mining Indaba at Euromoney Institutional Investor. Finally, they joined Fastmarkets in 2018 as the Head of Marketing (Commodity Events) and later became the Marketing Director, Events. In their role at Fastmarkets, Carina was responsible for building and leading the audience and analytics team, driving customer insights, and implementing data-driven business decisions. Carina also led the event marketing strategy and achieved significant year-on-year growth.

Carina Hunter obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English & Related Literature from the University of York, where they studied from 2003 to 2006.
