Fred Dirkes

Fred Dirkes has extensive experience in the metals and mining industry. Fred is currently the Head of Global Accounts - Americas at Fastmarkets, where they have been working since October 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Global Account Manager at Fastmarkets from October 2017 to October 2021.

Before joining Fastmarkets, Fred worked as a Key Account Manager at American Metal Market from November 2015 to October 2017. Fred also had a brief stint as the Head of Sales & Marketing - MetalPrices.com, an Argus Media service, from January 2015 to May 2015.

Fred's earlier experience includes being the Head of Sales & Marketing at MetalPrices.com from June 2011 to May 2015, where they focused on providing reliable and accurate raw material pricing for the international metals industry.

Additionally, they have experience in finance and marketing at KEW REALTY CORPORATION, where they worked from May 2008 to December 2008.

Fred Dirkes completed their Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, they were awarded the Cherrington Global Scholarship and studied International Finance at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics for one year. Before that, they attended Westminster School, a college-preparatory school, from 2000 to 2003. Fred'seducation also includes their time at Cardigan Mountain School from 1998 to 2000, but no degree or field of study is provided for this period.
