Sam Carew

Sam Carew is currently serving as the Strategic Markets Editor for Voluntary Carbon at Fastmarkets since September 2024. Prior to this role, Sam worked at Climate Impact X as a Senior Carbon Pricing Analyst from March 2023 to September 2024. From November 2014 to March 2023, Sam held various positions at Argus Media, including Associate Editor, Senior Reporter for Petrochemicals & Gasoline Components, and Reporter for European Petrochemicals, where responsibilities included leading market outlooks and price assessments for critical chemicals. Earlier experience includes serving as an International Project Co-ordinator at Green Park Interim & Executive Search and as a Consultant and Training Co-ordinator at Energy Markets International. Sam holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from Imperial College London, obtained in 2012.
