🦇Diego Fernando Mesa Echeverri

Diego Fernando Mesa Echeverri has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and automation. 🦇Diego Fernando started their career at Open International as a Product Consultant, where they researched, designed, and built viable solutions for customers using Open Smartflex software. 🦇Diego Fernando managed teams effectively during this role. After working for Open International for seven years, Diego joined Globant as a Senior QC Analyst. In this role, they managed test teams, participated in Scrum meetings, and designed and implemented test strategies for projects. Diego also wrote test cases using Gherkin and worked closely with clients to understand their business objectives. After working at Globant, they joined Growth Acceleration Partners as a Senior QA Automation Engineer, where they participated in scrum meetings and created and managed test plans. Diego also analyzed and designed test cases based on ATDD. 🦇Diego Fernando then worked at Genius Sports as a QA Automation Engineer in the Media & Advertising division, where they evangelized and supported teams on Quality Assurance best practices and evaluated project status using risk analysis. Currently, Diego is working at EPAM Anywhere as a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer. 🦇Diego Fernando will be joining FastSpring as a Senior Automation Engineer in 2023.

Diego Fernando Mesa Echeverri pursued their education at the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira from 2005 to 2011. During this time, they obtained a degree in systems engineering, specializing in computer systems.

In addition to their formal education, Diego has acquired several certifications. In September 2020, they completed a course in Web Automation Testing offered by Acámica. 🦇Diego Fernando also obtained the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from CertiProf in June 2020. Most recently, in December 2021, Diego achieved the ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
