Ryan Sanders, CSPO, CSM

Ryan Sanders has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 with Hewlett-Packard as a Business Intern. In 2009, they worked as a Technology Analyst Intern for The Coca-Cola Company, where they restructured the global team's SharePoint site and presented a collaboration strategy to the Regional Marketing Team in Mexico City. From 2010 to 2011, Ryan was the Head Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, instructing undergraduate students in various information systems courses. Ryan then worked as a Business Technology Intern at Freddie Mac from 2010 to 2010. In 2010, Ryan also served as a Project Manager & Web Developer for the Best of the Batch Foundation.

Moving forward, Ryan joined Freddie Mac again in 2011 and held multiple roles, including Systems Analyst and IT Analyst in the Rotation Program. As a Systems Analyst, they reengineered the company's external data acquisition process, resulting in annual savings for the firm. Ryan also managed relationships with external data vendors and implemented training programs for technical and business users. In the IT Analyst Rotation Program, they gained exposure to different IT career opportunities within Freddie Mac, such as Business Analyst and Test Engineer.

In 2016, Ryan joined Quicken Loans as a Business Analyst, focusing on delivering front-end and infrastructure solutions. Ryan was involved in various client business areas, including Default, Payment Services, Client Experience, and Marketing. Ryan also had leadership roles, such as being a speaker at the QL Technology Conference and leading the internal BA professionals group. During their time at Quicken Loans, the company received recognition as the #1 Mortgage Servicing by JD Power.

Starting in 2018, Ryan worked at Rocket Mortgage as a Tech Product Owner, specifically for the Servicing Experience. In this role, they played a significant part in improving Rocket Mortgage's servicing processes.

Currently, Ryan is working at FastSpring as a Tech Product Owner for Global Payments & API Integrations. FastSpring is a leading merchant of record for global SaaS and software companies, and Ryan's role involves managing the checkout, VAT, sales tax, compliance, and more, allowing software companies to focus on building great software.

Ryan Sanders, CSPO, CSM has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they received their High School Diploma from Detroit Country Day School from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Ryan has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Technology for Product Managers from LinkedIn in May 2022, Pragmatic Institute Certified Product Manager - Level 5 (PMC-V) from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) in October 2019, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in April 2022, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in October 2017, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020, Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2019, SAFe 5 DevOps Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2019, and SAFe® 5 Product Owner Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2018.
