Vijayan T.

Vijayan T. has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering and telecommunications field. Vijayan started their career at Ericsson Networks, where they gained proficiency in routing protocol architectures and implemented IPv6 translation and transition mechanisms. Vijayan then worked at ActivIdentity Europe S.A as a software engineer, where they were involved in the startup of an offshore design and development center and developed an interface for smart card modules. After that, they joined MARS Telecom Systems Pvt. Ltd. as an Engineering Technical Lead, leading a team in setting up an offshore development center and designing multiple features for IP-PBX systems. Vijayan later contracted for Microsoft, working on the VoIP OCS integration with various SIP Gateway vendors. In their most recent position at CALIENT Technologies Inc., Vijayan served as an Architect/Senior Systems Engineer, leading cross-functional teams in building the next generation of hardware platforms and developing highly scalable and modular software using the Ace TAO CORBA messaging framework. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineering Manager at FastSpring, where they focus on developing B2B/B2C e-commerce features and providing sellers with the necessary tools to optimize their potential.

Vijayan T. completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, between the years 1995 and 1999.
