Mikayla Bruner

Mikayla Bruner currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Boys Town since June 2023 and holds the position of Dissertation Chair at the College of Saint Mary since August 2020. Prior to these roles, Mikayla worked at Westside Community Schools from August 2014 to May 2023 as both an EY Curriculum Lead and an English Language Arts Educator. Additional experience includes teaching at Creighton University from June 2009 to July 2015, where Mikayla supported Upward Bound students, and serving as a Gifted and Talented Facilitator at Omaha Public Schools from January 2010 to July 2014. Mikayla's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the College of Saint Mary, a Master of Education in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from Concordia University, Nebraska, and a Bachelor of Education in English and history from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
