Rie Aleksandra Walle

Rie Aleksandra Walle is a seasoned professional in data protection and privacy, currently serving as a Teacher, Trainer, Speaker, Educator, and External Data Protection Officer at NoTies Consulting since September 2017. Rie is the founder of Bedre Bedrift AS, operating under NoTies, and has been involved with organizations such as the European Data Protection Board as an External Expert, and Fathom Analytics as an external Privacy Officer. With a focus on GDPR compliance, Rie contributes as a Guest Lecturer at various academic institutions including Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences and BI Norwegian Business School, and offers mentorship to startups through the Founder Institute. Rie has also volunteered as a GDPRhub Country Reporter for noyb.eu and has held roles as Interim DPO and Fractional CPO at various companies. Rie holds a Bachelor’s degree in language and literature from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway, as well as degrees in business administration from the University College of Tromsø and BI Norwegian Business School.
