Yoelvis Orozco Gonzalez, PhD

Yoelvis Orozco Gonzalez, PhD has worked at several institutions since 2012. Yoelvis began their career at Bowling Green State University as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist, then moved to Institut de Physique et Chimie des Materiaux de Strasbourg in 2015 in the same role. In 2017, they joined Georgia State University as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. In 2021, they began working at Intrinio as a Machine Learning Engineer, and also took on the role of Director of AI R&D at Fathom.fm.

Yoelvis Orozco Gonzalez obtained their Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Physics from the Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences (InSTEC) in 2005. Yoelvis then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Atomic/Molecular Physics at the same institution, which they completed in 2008. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 2012.
