Aditya Thakkar has been working in the software engineering field since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a QA Analyst Co-op at PointClickCare. In 2016, they worked as a Research Student (Surgical Robotics) at The Hospital for Sick Children. In 2017, they worked as a Data Science Intern and Developer Intern at Manulife. In 2018, they worked as a Quantitative Research Intern at CIBC and as a Co-Founder, Software Engineering & Product Lead at Oxii, where they built a modern inhaler, raised grant money, pitched to investors, interviewed healthcare providers, insurers and patients, and built a mobile app, cloud infrastructure, and hardware integrations. In 2020, they began working as a Software Engineering Lead and Software Engineer, Machine Learning at Fathom, where they are designing and building large scale machine learning systems for medical coding.
Aditya Thakkar graduated from McMaster University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng) in Electrical Engineering & Biomedical Engineering (Co-op). Aditya attended McMaster University from 2014 to 2019.
