Cleve S. has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. Cleve began their professional career as a Technology Intern at JPMorgan Chase in 2011, followed by a Software Development Intern role at Cerner Corporation in 2012. In 2013, they joined Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer, where they were the tech lead on the team delivering change safety tools and Amazon's continuous deployment team. In 2011, Cleve S. also pursued a Masters in Computer Science with a thesis in applied Machine Learning at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they were a Research Assistant in the Multi-Agent Systems research lab and a Teaching Assistant in introductory programming courses. Cleve began their studies at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2004. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Fauna Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer.

Cleve S. attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a M.S. in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a BS in Physics.
