Kong Teng Yee (Yao)

Kong Teng Yee (Yao) has a range of work experience in the technology industry. Kong currently holds a role as an Android Software Engineer at Fave, starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Razer Fintech as a Senior Android Developer from June 2021 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining the RazerPay app and later worked on a new project, Razer Gold, using Flutter.

Before Razer Fintech, Kong worked at Newsoft IT Solutions Sdn Bhd as a Senior Android Developer from October 2019 to May 2021. During their time there, they were solely responsible for a chatting app called Lobbi, similar to a combination of WeChat, Facebook, and Instagram. Kong started by fixing bugs and later moved on to building new modules and revamping Lobbi.

From July 2016 to September 2019, Kong worked at PBA Solutions Sdn Bhd as an Android Mobile Developer. Their responsibilities included maintaining, enhancing, and customizing the ERP System for various companies.

Prior to that, they worked at ManagePay Sdn Bhd as a Java Software Developer from June 2014 to June 2016. In this role, they focused on enhancing the security of the payment application and ensuring that the coding was done carefully and securely.

Kong's work experience also includes a role as a Web Developer at VOXz Software Solution Sdn Bhd from January 2013 to May 2013, where they completed an internship and gained knowledge in PHP development.

Finally, they worked as a Computer Technician at Mega Computer House from January 2010 to April 2010, where they gained technical skills in fixing computers and dealing with customers.

Kong Teng Yee (Yao) completed their Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons) in Information Systems Engineering from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) during the years 2010 to 2014. Kong focused on programming, website development, and database management during this course of study. Prior to that, they attended SMJK Nan Hwa, Sitiawan and completed their high school education between 2005 and 2009. It is not specified whether they attained a degree or studied a specific field during their time at SMJK Nan Hwa.
