Inge van Hauteghem

Inge Van Hauteghem has extensive work experience in various organizations. Inge started their career in 1999 as a scientific co-worker at Ghent University, where they worked on the European project CRAFT. In 2000, they joined FAVV as the head of the Inorganic Chemistry Department. In 2003, Inge became a project leader at CEN (Centre Européenne de Normalisation), specifically for CEN TC 327/WG 4. Additionally, they served as the convenor of Task Force Cadmium for CEN TC 260 from 2004 to 2007. In 2020, Inge worked as a co-project leader for CEN TC 260/WG 5 at CEN and CENELEC.

Inge Van Hauteghem has a diverse education history. In 1994, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Biological Sciences from Ghent University. Inge then went on to pursue further studies at the same university, completing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Biological Sciences with a specialization in Chemistry in 1995. In 1996, they continued their education at Universidad de Murcia, where they earned another Master of Science degree (M.Sc.) in Applied Biological Sciences with a focus on Chemistry. In 1998, Inge returned to Ghent University and obtained their second Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Applied Biological Sciences Chemistry.

In addition to their university education, Inge also attended various other training programs. Inge attended BTSF Rome, OFO, and OLVP, although details about the degree or field of study are not provided. Inge also completed a basisopleiding voor vrijwilligers die huiswerkbegeleiding doen voor anderstaligen (basic training for volunteers providing homework assistance to non-native speakers) at Spectrum i.s.m. Stad Gent.

More recently, in 2019, Inge attended Amelior and received training in ISO 17025:2017 Internal auditing, although they did not obtain a degree during this period.
