Mieke Vanbrabant

Mieke Vanbrabant is currently serving as a Laboratory Manager at FAVV-AFSCA and has been with the company since January 2009. Prior to this, Mieke worked at K.U.Leuven as a Lab Technician and Manager of the electron microscopy facility from March 2005 to December 2008. Mieke holds a degree in Genetics and Biotechnology from KU Leuven, obtained in 2003, and an Aggregaat in Applied Sciences from the same university in 2004. Mieke has extensive experience in laboratory management and expertise in food chain safety and research on neurodegenerative diseases.
