Laboratory and Risk Assessment

The Laboratory and Risk Assessment team at FAVV-AFSCA is responsible for conducting scientific analyses to evaluate the safety and quality of food products. This includes performing microbial and contamination assessments, as well as evaluating health risks associated with food, feed, and plant health. The team collaborates on the development of operational rules and provides expert guidance to ensure compliance with safety standards, ultimately safeguarding public health and the integrity of the food chain.
