Samir Shah

Samir Shah has nearly 23 years of work experience, beginning in 1999. Samir started at Sapient Corporation as a Senior Engineer and Senior Consultant, leading the design and implementation of solutions for clients. Samir was promoted to Senior Consultant within two years and worked on projects such as designing and implementing an online Patient Management System for Em3 and collaborating with the United States Marine Corps to integrate logistics systems.

In 2001, Samir joined Em3 Corporation/Concentra, Inc. as an IT Applications Manager and Application Architect. Samir built and led an internal team, enhanced and supported the critical Patient Management System, and implemented key functionality for automatic submission of HCFA 1500 claim forms.

From 2002 to 2018, Samir worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas in various roles. These roles included Senior Director of IT Solutions Delivery, Senior Applications Manager, and IT Application Supervisor of Integration Office/Application Team Leader.

In 2018, Samir joined Healthcare Highways, Inc. as the SVP Information Technology. Samir collaborated with the executive team in system-wide strategy development, managed strategic projects, and provided strategic and operational leadership for the development and implementation of information technology and information security functions. Samir also implemented marketing differentiation strategies in healthcare data analytics.

From 2022 to 2023, Samir worked as the Head of Applications at Health New England. Samir led the enterprise applications team, oversaw an upgrade of the Claims management system, and worked closely with executive leadership to articulate business needs.

Currently, Samir is the Senior Vice President of IT Applications at Fay Servicing, LLC, starting in 2023.

Samir Shah has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering. Samir also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
