We, at the Office of the Fayette County Commonwealth’s Attorney are responsible for the prosecution of all felonies which occur in Lexington-Fayette County. Felonies are serious offenses which are investigated by law enforcement agencies, primarily the Lexington Division of Police.

Our office is comprised of prosecutors, victim advocates and a support staff. Our prosecutors are a diverse group who come to us from many different backgrounds and places. They are all intelligent and articulate and possess a strong work ethic and a dedication to the safety of our community.
